American Advanced Practice Network \u2013 the first and only national network of Nurse Practitioners\u00a0 leveraging CareSpan\u00ae\u2019s Integrated Digital Care platform in partnership with the National Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur Network (NNPEN), the only nationwide organization dedicated to bringing NP business owners and the resources they need together for success \u2013 is launching two unique inaugural Business Accelerator Programs, designed to assist new members in growing their business. The American-APN Academy is the premier provider of online learning opportunities, forums, tools and apprentice guided practicums designed to accelerate the growth and business performance of its network members. The Academy, in the Greek sense of that word, is an association of scholar-practitioners. The Academy incorporates both academic and practical intelligence into its education, research and practice initiatives, designed to foster rapid, high-performance entry into autonomous practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning begins by creating a Work Plan: aspects of running a business, marketing and community engagement, expanding services such as Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM). This is followed by 3-6 months of real-time apprenticeship to execute the plan, assisting with business acceleration until the practice achieved a desired level of maturity.<\/span><\/p>\n

For NPs whose dream of owning a practice is not yet a reality, the American-APN\/NNPEN Business Basics 1 Accelerator Program offers a comprehensive\u00a0introduction to\u00a0business through a 12-week curriculum. During this time the NP completes\u00a0a business plan, market analysis, develops a budget, and identifies the practice model right for their businesses. During the next year under the mentorship of\u00a0an experienced\u00a0American-APN business owner they open a practice prepared to be successful.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For those who have not yet launched a practice, we have established a partnership with the National Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneurs Network (NNPEN).
